Lucas Florsheim, a senior at Pomona-Pitzer, placed second in the men's 8-kilometer race in 24:37.4 at the NCAA Division 3 West Regional at the Riverside Cross Country Course in Riverside, Calif. Florsheim, who won last year's regional crown, led the Sagehens to a sixth straight West Regional men's team title with a 45-93 victory against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Pomona-Pitzer will compete Nov. 18 at the NCAA Division 3 Championships in Dickinson, Pa.
